"Weird" weather is still here!
It seems that the weird weather conditions are continuing!
Stay cool. Stay dry. Stay safe.

Algebra 2 FOLKS: Viewable changes are popping up! Changes, updates, and adjustments are on their way. It's slow work, but the changes will be worthwhile. We are testing our creative skills in the development of a new interactive section.
TI-nspire and Algebra 2:
Working with Texas Instruments, we know the value of both the TI-84+ and the TI-Nspire calculators. When the TI-Nspire was the "new kid" on the block, we made the decision to keep the TI-84+ for Junior Math, Algebra 1 and Geometry. With the plan to bring the TI-Nspire on board (non-CAS) for Algebra 2, and then use the TI-NSpire CAS for PreCalculus and Calculus. So ....... the TI-Nspire is coming on board full force (meaning both its use in A2 and the re-development of its own "how to" web section). (Note: we will be "keeping" the references to the TI-84+ that appear in Algebra 2, for schools that are using the TI-84+ across the curriculum. In many instances you will see the TI-84+ and the TI-Nspire references appearing side by side.)

Junior Math FOLKS: Some new items have popped up this summer, along with responses for requests. We have some new interactive goodies on the horizon, but it may be awhile before we can address them. Algebra 2 is a prime focus this summer.

Algebra 1 FOLKS: We have posted several responses for requests this summer.. There are several more graphing requests that will be also be appearing this sumemr.

Pre-Calculus FOLKS: Pre-Calculus and Calculus are among our favorite things to teach, so we are determined to persist in getting these section up and running. The Next Generation updates to Algebra 2 need to be finished and then we can focus on finishing Pre-Calculus. Some of the new work in Algebra 2 will carry over into Pre-Calculus, so that is a plus. We have some of the work finished in the College Algebra component of Pre-Calculus (we are blending College Algebra and Pre-Calculus together to create one widely dispersed offering.)

Remember: New Updates Never End!
As major areas reach the end of their current NGMS-focused enhancement phase, please understand that the concept of "updating" never ends. We seem to be continually finding new items we want to include in our materials. We still have piles for each level that include new ideas we want to develop. So, even if your section is currently "complete", there will still be new things coming your way in the future.
Now, if someone could just put more than 24 hours in one day,
it would be most helpful!!! Smiles!

Live long and love math,
Fred and Donna
